Watershed 101: What’s in the Water – In Person

Do you know what watershed you are a part of? Do you know what a watershed is? Watersheds 101 will orient attendees to their local waterway, the Rockaway River, providing fun facts, historical context, and challenges that the River faces. This presentation will also provide tools that attendees can use in order to help protect and monitor their water resources as well as how to become better stewards of their watershed.

Presented by Phoebe Galione.  Phoebe is currently the Northern Source Water Protection Ambassador with the New Jersey AmeriCorps Watershed Ambassador Program.  Presented in conjunction with the Denville Environmental Commission, Denville’s Green Team and the Rock Ridge Plant, Animal & Land Stewards.  Part of the Eco-Action Series.
