2020 Year in Review
What a year! 😊
This morning, our Library Director Siobhan Koch presented a Year in Review for our Town Council, Mayor Andes, and Administrator Ward. We are so grateful for the continued support of the library by our town administration and elected officials.
All of YOU were also a part of making the past 12 months successful for the library, despite a global pandemic and radical changes to our service model. You’ve stayed with us every step of the way, for which we are so grateful. We truly have the best patrons!
Please check out our presentation video. Thank you for all the support, smiles, engagement, and kindness you’ve shared with us this year. 🥰
Proposed Expansion Project Information
The Library Board and Staff are working to improve the interior of the Library for our patrons. Please be on the lookout for updates and changes. One day in the future we hope to return to the below project but we do not have the funds at the present time.
In 2021, unfortunately, the Denville Library was not chosen as a recipient of the 2nd round of grants. There were 116 applications totaling $117 million but only $37.5 million available to be awarded. Congratulations to those libraries that were awarded. A list can be found here.
Below is our submission and FAQ from the second grant round:
We have eight public computers in the reference section, each of which have a one-hour time limit, with additional time if there is no one waiting to use a computer. We also have one “quick browse” computer and one “self checkout” computer located near the circulation desk.
