Remembering the American Revolution – In Person
March 16 @ 7:00 PM - 8:00 PM
FreeTruth or Tall Tale? Rethinking the Stories of America’s Founding. Mark Twain famously said, “Never let the truth get in the way of a good story.” But when it comes to the founding of our country, what do we really remember: the truth, a good story, or something in between?
Join us for a lively and entertaining look at the myths, legends, and surprising realities of the Revolutionary era. We’ll revisit iconic moments like Paul Revere’s Ride, Washington Crossing the Delaware, Bunker Hill, the Declaration of Independence, George Washington’s “wooden” teeth, and more, separating fact from fiction along the way.
Come ready to rethink what you know, discover unexpected truths, and have some fun with history! Presented by Joel Farkas.
