Denville in the Revolutionary War – In Person

Vito Bianco, author, past President, and current Board member of the Denville Historical Society & Museum, will discuss life, culture, and events in Denville during the Revolutionary War period. He will introduce you to some of the Denville people who bore witness to the War,  and to some of the actual wartime sights in town. You will learn how the early Dutch, English, and Quaker settlers interacted with the remaining Native-American population and African slaves. Delve into George Washington’s two known wartime visits to Denville and the end of the war event that shook the world.
