Art Around the World: The Frick Collection – Virtual Program

Take a trip to the Upper East Side with art historian, Jay Schuck, as he leads a virtual tour through the galleries of the Frick Collection.  The newly renovated Frick Collection is an elegant museum in NYC housed in the former mansion of industrialist Henry Clay Frick. It features European Old Master paintings, sculpture and decorative arts, with works by Titian, Goya, Rembrandt, Vermeer and Turner. The museum is known for its intimate, domestic setting and exceptional quality of works. Highlights include Rembrandt‘s “The Polish Rider”, Vermeer’s “Officer and Laughing Girl” and “The Bullfight” by Edouard Manet.  Zoom link to be shared prior to the program. This virtual program is hosted by Kemmerer Library.
