Our 2019 Summer Reading Program runs from Monday, June 24th through Saturday, August 3rd. The program is open to pre-readers through children entering 7th grade. Children are welcome to keep track of their reading days or reading hours, but there are no minimum reading requirements.
You must be a Denville resident to sign up for our Summer Reading Program.
Here’s how our program works:
(1) READ ALONE OR TOGETHER AS A FAMILY!
You can print your own reading logs to keep track of how much you read or on which days you read this summer. You have two choices:
2019 Summer Reading Time Log (younger children can cross out different symbols for every 15 minutes they read)
2019 Summer Reading Calendar Log (older children can write down the amount of time they read each day or simply mark the days on which they’ve read)
(2) VISIT THE LIBRARY!
At the Library, you can pick up your Weekly Visit Chart, which we’ll stamp. Be sure to visit the Library each week during our Summer Reading Program to collect a special weekly prize and receive raffle tickets for grand prizes, including sports tickets, museum passes, posters, books, and more!
Visit the Children’s Events Page to check out all our cool events for kids of all ages this summer. We hope to see you soon!
