From 1968 until 1974, the Zodiac killer terrorized the San Francisco Bay Area with murders, taunting letters and cryptic coded messages. In 1999, Denville resident Mike Rodelli had an idea about how to identify the killer. Eighteen years later, he has now published an Ebook, The Hunt for Zodiac, that names one of the most unlikely serial killer suspects in the history of crime. Many people laughed at Rodelli’s ideas. The police were fearful of his suspect. In 2002, DNA evidence said that Rodelli was wrong. But he persisted and in 2004, he formed an unlikely friendship with one of the top behavioral profilers in the world, who says that against all odds, Mike Rodelli has solved one of the greatest mysteries of the 20th Century.
