Spice Club – Pick Up

This month’s Spice of the month is: Fenugreek.  Fenugreek seeds are pale- to golden-yellow with the aroma and flavor notes of maple syrup. They are slightly sweet, with a hint of nuttiness.  Fenugreek seeds are used in Indian and Middle Eastern cuisines. They can be found in dal as well as chutneys and some curries. Ground Fenugreek seeds are used in the Garam masala spice blend.  Give this unusual spice a try!
