The Marine Mammal Stranding Center
The Marine Mammal Stranding Center in Brigantine was founded in 1978. In that time, MMSC has responded to over 4,500 (!) strandings of whales, dolphins, seals, and sea turtles that have washed ashore along New Jersey coastline.
MMSC will joining us on Wednesday, June 29th at 3:30 pm. Kids entering grades K-6 will learn about all the neat marine mammals living in our waters and how we can help keep our beaches and oceans clean for them. We will have a live tv feed showing some rescued creatures at the MMSC swimming and having fun. We’ll also have artifacts from real animals and lots of really cool photos.
Please come learn how to be a responsible beachgoer! Register below. Happy swimming!
