“He stole from the rich and gave to the poor.”  Or, did he?  What is the origin of this character, made so popular in film?  In this lesson, we will discuss some of the early tales about this infamous outlaw, and do so in the historical context of each stage of his literary development.  Perhaps we may even tackle the questions:  Why do we like him?  Should we like him? Presented by Alexander Clemente.
