Event Details

The wonderful folks from the Morris Museum Astronomical Society are back for another night of stargazing at our fourth annual Family Astronomy Night!
Grades 1 through 6, please join us on Monday, July 8th* beginning at 7:30 pm as we explore the sky with high-powered telescopes. Last year, we saw all the amazing craters on the moon and even got to take a peek at Saturn. (If you check out the flyer below, that’s Ms. Maryellen’s iPhone photo of the moon as seen through the telescope. So cool!)
As we take turns on the telescope — and wait for full nightfall — we’ll also have fun space-related crafts in the meeting room.
We would love for you to join us! Please register on the RSVP button below. Thank you!
* Rain / cloud date is Monday, July 15th. We will make a decision by 4:30 pm and update everyone.
