Event Details

** Update, 7/11 at 4:30 pm: The program is ON! Our friends from the Astronomical Society say that these fair weather clouds should lessen as the night goes on. We will see you later! **
This program is full. Thank you!
The wonderful folks from the Morris Museum Astronomical Society are back for another night of stargazing!
Grades 1 and up, please join us on Monday, July 11th* beginning at 7:30 pm as we explore the sky with high-powered telescopes. Last year, we saw all the amazing craters on the moon and even got to take a peek at Saturn. (If you check out the flyer below, that’s Ms. Maryellen’s iPhone photo of the moon as seen through the telescope last year. So cool!)
As we take turns on the telescope — and wait for full nightfall — we’ll also have some fun space-related crafts in the meeting room, including sand art, scratch art, and a make-your-own-constellation project.
We would love for you to join us! Please register on the RSVP button below. Thank you!
* Rain / cloud date is Tuesday, July 12th. We will make a decision by 4:30 pm on Monday and update everyone.

Denville residents ONLY may sign up beginning Friday, July 1st.
Residents of all neighboring communities may sign up beginning Friday, July 8th. Early registrations from non-Denville residents will be canceled. Thank you for respecting our policy!
