Biographical information on more than 90,000 authors in the US and around the world. To search Contemporary Authors only, users must click Clear Checkmarks, scroll down and put a check in Contemporary Authors. Searches work best if Author/Creator field is selected from the Search drop-down list.

This database is part of a group of databases paid for by the State Library of NJ. To access Reference USA from home you must enter your library card number to get to the search screen. On the page with the search screen you will find Reference USA listed under the Business category. Profile data on 11 million domestic companies. Listings are searchable and sortable by business name, location, yellow page heading, SIC code and size of operation. Information is culled from current telephone books. From a remote location printing and downloading will be limited to 25 records.
