Grades 2 through 6, please join us on Wednesday, May 13th at 4:30 pm as we learn about the ancient Aztecs, who lived in what is now central Mexico. This ancient civilization is known for its amazing architecture, art, poetry, technology, math, and science. We will be learning about Aztec sun stones (or calendar stones) and, using poster board, we will be designing and painting one of our very own!

Let Lorna and Phil Wooldridge take you on a genealogical adventure that spans two countries and two centuries.
Through the eyes of Lorna's Great-Grandfather, a stonecutter in Barre, Vermont, they will tell you about the life of a stonecutter during Barre's heyday as "The Granite Center of the World". They will also examind the memorial industy in Barre today, and the challenges it faces.
The program will conclude with a photographic tour through Barre's Hope Cemetary, one of the top ten cemeteries you must see before you die.

Join Rhonda Denet, NY based jazz/soul vocalist on a musical journey from the era when the "First Lady Of Song," Ella Fitzgerald graced the stage to when the "Queen of Soul," Aretha Franklin ruled the airways. In addition to Ella and Aretha, this showcase pays tribute to Billie Holiday, Nina Simone, Nancy Wilson, Etta James, Martha & The Vandellas, Mary Wells, and Gladys Knight.
