Read to a Dog! Program

Registered therapy dogs Clover and Zoe visited us for Read to a Dog! in early May. Both dogs had so much fun listening to our young patrons read great books to them. If you click here, you can see more photos of the dogs hard at work being friendly, patient listeners.

Did you know that reading to a dog improves literacy skills, instills confidence, and boosts public speaking abilities? It does! It's also REALLY fun!

Clover and Zoe -- and Turner, another registered therapy dog who visited us back in April -- will return to the Denville Library on Saturday, June 1st from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm. They can't wait to hear you read. Please click here to register. Woof!

Yoga Storytime

Our first session with yoga instructor Rachael Welz filled up in one week. Please don't miss out! Rachael returns for another morning of Yoga Storytime on Thursday, June 6th at 10:00 am. Preschoolers ages 2 through 6 will enjoy this half hour of stories, songs, and yoga stretching. As this is a limited-space event, you must register here. Namaste!

Preschool Mini-Musical Theatre ... All New!

All new! Last session until fall!

On Tuesday, June 11th, from 10:00 am to 10:45 am, Miss Emily and Miss Katie from Morristown’s South Street Dance School will teach singing, dancing, and acting in a 45-minute workshop. Little ones will perform at the end of the event, so please bring your camera!

This session is all new material, so kids who attended the other two workshops -- which were very popular! -- will find something new to love. Please click here to register, as we only have limited space in the meeting room. We can't wait to see you sing and dance!

Stuffed Animal (and Superhero!) Sleepover Pictures

Following our Pajama Storytime, some beloved companions got to have a sleepover at the library. Click here to see photos of all the fun they had! We will have two Pajama Storytimes this summer. Please check back for dates and times!
